In 2016, besides photography and festivals, a third great passion matured in me: diving. After I completed my Open Water training in the Philippines, a year later I trained to become an Advanced Open Water Diver in Honduras, only to tackle the Rescue Diver training a short time afterwards in the Philippines.
After exploring reefs and wrecks in Malta, Mexico, Malaysia and beyond, I decided to trade in my small action cam for a large underwater housing for my full frame camera. With each descent, diving turned into a search for frames – capturing the interplay of light, life, and movement beneath the surface.
In 2024, I took another big step by completing my Divemaster training in Indonesia. By now, I’ve had the chance to experience more than 300 dives across 18 countries, and the list keeps growing. Still, every dive feels new, and I remain curious and excited to see where this journey will take me next…
