The protection of your personal data is important to me. Personal data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German data protection laws. You can generally use this website without providing any personal data.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Serverprofis GmbH, Otto-Lilienthal-Ring 34–36, 85622 Feldkirchen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. When you visit the website, the server automatically records information that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). It is not combined with other data sources and is deleted after a short period.

3. Visitor statistics (WP Statistics)

To understand how this website is used, I use the WordPress plugin WP Statistics. The data is stored exclusively on my own web server and is not passed on to third parties. IP addresses are anonymised and hashed before storage, so that no conclusions can be drawn about individual visitors. No cookies are set for this purpose. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in an anonymous evaluation of usage (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

4. Security (Wordfence)

To protect the website against attacks, I use the security plugin Wordfence Security (Defiant Inc., USA). It runs on my web server and checks requests for malicious activity; for this purpose, IP addresses and request data are processed. To keep its protection up to date, the plugin exchanges data with Defiant’s servers, which may include IP addresses of attackers. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in the security of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

5. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on my own server. No connection to external font providers (such as Google) is established when you visit the website.

6. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. Technically necessary cookies are only set when logging into the administration area.

7. Contact by email

If you contact me by email, I process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, content of your message) solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). The data is not passed on to third parties and is deleted once it is no longer required, unless statutory retention periods apply.

8. Links to social networks and other websites

This website contains simple links to Instagram, Facebook, 500px and allerorts.de. These are ordinary links, not embedded plugins: no data is transmitted to these services when you visit my website. Only when you click a link and visit the respective site does its own privacy policy apply.

9. Your rights

You have the right to information about your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for me is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

10. Objection to advertising emails

I hereby object to the use of the contact details published in the legal notice for sending unsolicited advertising and information material. I expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising, for example spam emails.
